Carry the feeling of the sea with you wherever you go. This fun and funky choker is earthy, artistic and organic with a sophisticated flair.
This choker is from my By the Sea collection. The funky and organic Czech glass focals in this piece remind me of an ocean lagoon. I couldn’t resist combining them with equally organic, cultured freshwater pearls and tiny Czech glass druk beads. “What’s a druk?” you may ask. I’m glad you did. Druk beads are smooth, usually round beads made using special techniques in the Czech Republic. These techniques have been in use for hundreds of years. The earthy, marbled finish on these particular beads lends a sense of sun reflecting off the incoming tide.
The beads are set on a silver-filled cable chain. Silver-filled chain is far superior to silver-plated, and jewelry made with it can last a generation or more. The chain measures 10 inches for a total choker length of 15 inches, with a 3 inch extender chain so you can adjust it to your liking.
Each choker will feature unique pearls, carefully selected to complement one another. Just as every pearl is unique, each of these chokers is one of a kind. Let me make one for you!
