Description
Small is mighty in these minimalist earrings featuring a blue and beige, fire polished Czech glass rondelle framed by a tiny peridot rondelle on top, and a tinier turquoise rondelle on the bottom. The beads are set on silver colored wire and finished with a pair of petite, handmade, silver colored ear wires. They measure about 1 7/8″ in length and are so light, you may forget you’re wearing them.
These earrings are part of our Tiny Treasures™ collection, featuring smaller and more delicate pieces made primarily of Czech glass with gemstones and crystals.
Czech glass has been renowned for centuries for its innovative and distinctive colors and finishes. Prior to the 1830s, these beads were painstakingly cut by hand with knives. Today, Czech glass beads are machine made, but no less fascinating. The seemingly endless selection of colors, patterns, textures and styles lend themselves to a vast array of unique jewelry designs.
Peridot is associated with harmony, good health, restful sleep and peacefulness. It is known as a stone of compassion that can calm anger and bring renewal, and is the birthstone for August. Turquoise has been associated with luck, peace and protection. It is a traditional birthstone for the month of December.
Just as no two stones are alike, no two of these earrings will be the same. Handmade pieces will by nature be imperfect.
