Larimar Drop Earrings

I’m a little obsessed with larimar, a beautiful, sky-blue gem found only in a specific area in the Dominican Republic. It is both beautiful and rare, which means it tends to be pricey. I obtained a limited number of these little larimar nuggets, and for my By the Sea collection I have chosen to give them simple settings that allow them to show their unique beauty. In these earrings, a single nugget is set on silver-filled wire, accented by a tiny silver-filled bead. They dangle from handmade ear wires and measure just under 1 inch in length.

Silver-filled findings are superior to silver-plated, yet far more affordable than solid sterling silver. Properly cared for, these pieces will last a generation or more.
