The earrings are crafted from adorable Czech glass sunflower beads topped with a turquoise blue magnesite heart bead – the yellow and blue colors represent the Ukraine flag, which itself mimics a field of yellow flowers under a clear blue sky. These earrings are available in antique silver plate with stainless steel ear wires, or in silver and gold plate with matching wires.  They feature small, plated heishi beads and are set on ball-end wires, and measure 1 1/2″ in length.

Magnesite is a gemstone that, when cut and polished into beads, features a dark thread of veins across its surface, giving it texture and interest. It is often dyed blue to act as a less-expensive alternative to turquoise, which it resembles.
