Squares and spheres of turquoise-dyed howlite are accented by a pair of dalmatian jasper beads. Corrugated beads in a gunmetal finish provide an accent. An oversized, easy-to-open toggle clasp in antique silver finishes this bracelet, which measures 7 1/2″ in length and fits an average wrist.
Howlite is a beautiful, under-appreciated gemstone that’s wonderful for making beads of every shape. It readily accepts dyes, and is often used to simulate turquoise. Natural howlite is white in color with a rich matrix of veins.
